Welcome to Oh, Poppycock!
I always thought I would have a simple birthday bash for our son's first birthday cause he is obviously not going to remember it, but, of course, I couldn't stay away from Pinterest! Too much pinsperation turned into a Teddy Bear's Picnic and this is how it turned out!
Earlier this week, the famjam and I headed to downtown Vancouver to attend some of our favorite free holiday events. Read about these events and follow along with the included itinerary for your very own adventure.
A glimpse into our hiking adventure at Joffre Lakes Provincial Park in Beautiful British Columbia!

A week has passed since Halloween was upon us and I must say, I am already missing it! I have always loved dressing up in costume but now that we have a little offspring, it just makes it that much more fun, even if he is too young to understand what is going on. Last year was Lennon's 1st Halloween and I insisted on a unique group costume for my little family. This year was no exception. I narrowed my ideas down to two but I couldn't pick one so I decided to do both (it was Lennon's second Halloween after all, so why not)! We had four Halloween events to attend between Saturday and Monday so we mixed it up. Here is what I narrowed it down to...
DIY tutorial and photos of a babywearing popcorn Halloween costume. I never got around to sharing these photos last year and since Halloween is approaching, I felt it was an appropriate time to share them!
This time last year, the hubby and I were babymooning in Vegas. As I was looking back on photos, it seemed like an appropriate time to share the story and photos from our last trip before we entered parenthood..
